Where to click, where not to click? Where to ask and where to just go ahead? If you are a photography freak and love to capture the place and people around in you, then you must be wondering to have guidance and to recognize as to when and where it is right time to shot the objects.

Little bit of decency and timing will let the clicked one as well as you happy with the click as otherwise the aces may be when you may annoy the one who have been clicked or may be fined because you broke off the laws and rules of photography of that particular place.

Strong arguments are seemed passing both for and against the idea of photographing people while on travel. It is not always essential to take permission from every second person you click where as at some point of time clicking without permission may be counted as lack of etiquettes and ill mannered behavior.

There are people for say Native Americans who believe that if their picture is clicked without permission it is equivalent to steal their souls.

• Ask if the person is going to be the focus in your click: it goes without saying that if the person is going to be the core in your photo you are bound to ask for permission. It is an expected behavior that every tourist should follow when he wanders around and is engaged into photographing the place.
• It is not necessary to ask if the person is a minor in your click: obviously you won’t go ahead and ask from every person moving on the street before clicking an area.
• Know the Signs: holding a camera and smiling at the person you want to click is an enough sign for asking permission. See how the other person reacts to your actions. If he nod and raise his eyebrows in a questionable manner, you should stop clicking him right there. Learn the gestures.
• Stop If They Are Unwilling: if the person being clicked is unwilling to get his click done that certainly hints a halt on your actions right there. Sometimes often when you ask some people do agree to get clicked but must not be willing to get that done in a good mood, it is better to stop photographing them in case you sense such a disinterest.
• Smile Before and After taking the Click: if you can’t restrict yourself from clicking something really interesting and appealing the it is advised to maintain a firm eye contact with the person. This throws a positive energy on his mind and will helps him to get convinced for getting clicked, a formula that always work.
• Don’t Ask For Clicking The Artist: if it you have check and if it is allowed to take camera in a concert hall or event performance you certainly need not ask the stage artists or authorities to click the pictures. They are there to the clicked so go ahead!!!
